3 Way Projects was established in 1999 as a Design, Project Management and Construction Company by Charles Ehlers.

We specialize in hospitality, retail and commercial projects ranging from multimillion-rand flagship projects to small individual business owners.

Every project is handled with the same care, professionalism and attention to detail, always striving to finish a project on time and within budget.

We are proud of our track record of over 600 successfully completed projects and value our relationship with every client.

We work internationally and have extensive experience in the African and South African market as well as Mauritius.

We have a close working relationship with many suppliers, designers and contractors ensuring we can deliver on any project from concept design to completion and hand-over, no matter the size and scope of work.

We can provide a turn-key service including interior design, cost estimation, project management, construction management and all disciplines related to construction and specialized services.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

For optimum communication, quality control and flexibility, an effective Construction Project Manager possesses excellent communication skills. He is able to communicate clearly and confidently, to create stronger relationships between contractors, managers and client. This assists in preventing unnecessary delays in the project so that each task is completed successfully and on time.

Drawing up of a critical path for the project duration
Awarding of contracts to approved suppliers in consultation with client
Establish procurement procedures
Ensure all health and safety standards are met
Regular site visits to ensure the project stays on track and within budget

Weekly site meetings and comprehensive site meeting minutes and progress reports
Addressing discrepancies / changes timeously
Drawing up and execution of the snag list after project completion
Hand-over the completed scope of work to the client
